My first time visiting this park. "Let's go for a walk" We entered the park and there was plenty of parking available. The Nature Center is there first building where you're greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff, a cute hognose snake (I don't like snakes, but this one has a cute little head, I was so intrigued!) Eagles, Falcons, Hawks, butterflies! And a walk down the trail leads you to the Moccasin Lake. It's absolutely a wonderful place for an afternoon walk, for children to visit and enjoy presentations and nature. Highly recommend it!

I love this park! Great trails, lots of birds and reptiles to see, especially on Wednesday. Thank you for hosting Youth Leadership Pinellas! #TeamCocco approved

Absolutely love this park. The trails are well marked, easy to walk, and beautifully maintained, making it a great spot for families and casual hikers. The rescued birds of prey are the highlight hawks, owls, eagles, vultures, and more and it’s clear they’re well cared for. Watching feeding time is especially fascinating and educational. There’s tons of wildlife throughout the park, from turtles and snakes to countless birds, plus a small butterfly garden and shaded boardwalks that make the walk enjoyable. It’s peaceful, clean, and feels like a truly undisturbed ecosystem. A fantastic place to connect with nature and one of the best parks in Pinellas County.

1 hour worth of trails Small butterfly garden Education areas with animals Clean bathroom Plenty of areas to sit and picnic Tranquil little Park setback in the neighborhood, but the views once you get there couldn't be overstated. The amazing trail system is well taken care of and boasts plenty of boardwalks with beautiful Vistas. Small creeks and a river run through this park wonderfully pinpointed by a few ponds. There are some sunny areas, but it's mostly a beautiful shaded walk through the woods. I definitely wasn't expecting there to be an Aviary showing off some of the areas bird culture, which was pretty amazing and educational.

Open for a short time during the day. It's a family fun kind of place. The rangers station is fun and the bird sanctuary is fun. The trail is an easy walk
