This area used to be safe, clean, and the trail was great. Until it got flooded with homeless people leaving trash, empty drug bags, drug accessories, etc. walking my dogs here no longer feels safe. Having to double check the grass area for broke glass, wrappers, trash, needles and so on. The homeless people living here have stolen my bike worth $700 right from my front door, cutting both metal chain locks on it. My $100 wagon from my from porch. It’s truly ridiculous.

Not kept up well be the city. Empty beer and liquor bottles, condoms on the ground, and trash was plentiful.

Death in this park 2 months ago from a drive by, not to mention a ton of random druggies and homeless trying to camp out day or night, followed by multiple drug deals in and along side of this park. Always multiple gunshots in and towards the park all day long every day but mostly after 7. I don't feel safe in this park let alone living near by it! Count your blessings if you take you children here and nothing happens.

This park is beautiful. The trail around the river makes it a breathtaking experience if water is your thing. I would so recommend there is fun for all ages, a play area for the little ones along with a basketball court for the older kids with enough separation no one unexpectedly will be hit with a flying basketball. Enjoy!!!!

Playground is huge. So much to do! Loved the atmosphere. Restrooms were surprisingly clean!
