The best playground in the county. Slides, swings, twirling, flush bathrooms, spngy landscape. Walking, hiking or running trails. They are building a new lodge that should open summer of 2026.

We stayed in the new group camp area for the first time with a bunch of boys and a lot if squirt guns and food and sweat. The park ranger not only checked in on us a few times in that heat, but was really kind and even called to tell us where shelters were and update us on incoming storms. So much room to run and explore! We really loved the tucked away smaller group camp, but the shelter was a great addition and we were still able to explore. Will 100% return!

One of the best and most unique parks I have ever taken my kids to. A beautiful walk through the arboretum is a great addition. We go here frequently. The "zip lines" are so fun for the kids and the unique swings really just make this one of the best parks out there! Highly recommend.

This park playground is really fun! I took my niece and nephew here one day and they loved it. The big slide was a hit and the ziplines were very fun for them to fly through the air on and race each other. It was also a very hot day but there was shade built into the structures in some areas, which was really nice to take a break. The bathrooms seem quite new and there was even a place to park bikes and do some repairs. Great park!

I did not realize how big this park was. The trails through the park are absolutely beautiful. Having the campground there is also nice as it connects to the trails. There are beautiful flowers and other plants all around. Despite there being plenty of signs about keeping your dog on a leash, there were 2 people that said, "He's friendly." That is not ok to do and could be a safety risk. I do not want your dog to sniff me or jump on me and those both happened. Please follow the signs and let your dog off the leash in the dog park only. The trails should be enjoyed by everyone not just you and your "friendly" dog.
