What a lovely way to spend a few hours! The park has a thoughtful, integrated design bringing recreation and nature together. I brought a book to read, I explored the pier and nature trails, I saw some waterfowl. The beautiful sculptures represent local wildlife. There is a constant noise from overhead traffic on the bridge (8 lanes). Nice clean restrooms.

Plenty of free parking right across the visitor center. This park is free and well maintained. We visited on a week day and there were only a handful of other people walking around in the park. It’s very nice and the view of the bridge was beautiful. Be mindful of the noise of the traffic from atop the bridge though. It’s actually quite loud at times. We were able to see the York Town memorial from afar which was pretty cool. Dogs are allowed in most of the park but not on the pier which was disappointing to us. There’s a good sized cafe/gift shop at the entrance to the pier that sells breakfast at a reasonable price.

New and beautiful. This location feels safe, it is amazingly built and a lot of research put into its location. With the bridge overhead providing shade and an amazing view. Lots of areas to fish that is well maintained. A lovely gift shop and swings, benches, chairs, picnic tables it is super welcoming. Pets are not permitted on the pier and that is kind of nice since you don't have to worry about a mess or someone having a pup that doesn't have manners. Overall this is an amazing pier and park! It also leads up go Ravenel bridge and that walk is breath taking!

We had such a great time at this park with my partner and our nephew! The space is clean, well-kept, and has plenty of room for kids to run and play. Our nephew loved the playground, and there were so many spots for us to relax and enjoy watching him have fun. What made it even better was how family-friendly the atmosphere felt—safe, welcoming, and full of other families enjoying the day. It really gave us the perfect chance to spend quality time together outdoors. This is definitely a park we’ll be coming back to again and again!

Lovely, quiet morning out by the water. Nice, clean walking trails, statues, and a good place for quiet reflection or an early morning stretch.
