The bathrooms here are a bit gross (no hand soap, graffiti inside, the toilet paper was wet), but besides this, the park is beautiful. Green grass for picnics, 3 or 4 benches, wheelchair accessible bathrooms, but the 2 playgrounds they have are on woodchips. The playgrounds are both very small, but there is one for smaller kids and one for a little bit older kids. Overall, this might be a better park for adults looking to sit and relax, or kids that aren't picky about not having swings and lots of different toys to play on.

Splash pads are back open!! If you’re still trying to adjust to larger crowds, Mulberry Park would be a good spot to ease back into these types of activities because it’s a small local park but still has good amenities. 📍751 Mulberry Dr, San Marcos, CA 92069 🚙Free parking in small lot 💰This park is free 🎠The play structure has a mulch ground surface. Nice park with lots of sitting areas. Has a splash pad and around 3 grilling areas. Seems to be kept very clean.

The playground was hot on hot days specially for kids. Instead of concrete they should put pads so kids that run won’t slip and fall. Not enough shades either. The only thing I liked was that it had a big grass area and picnic areas with barbecue for families. Parking and restroom as well.
