It's still weird being in Springdale and noticing how much they are lacking of there's so many teenagers there's so many grown-ups why are there no basketball courts or tennis courts or volleyball nets. Abbey Park I've been to is lucky that and every way the new park was better off the old way

Murphy Park is a spacious, well-equipped community park located in Taylor, Texas, offering a mix of nature, recreation, and family-friendly features. --- ✅ Pros: - Large pond with ducks and fishing opportunities. - Playgrounds, picnic areas, and walking trails. - On-site Murphy Park Pool (seasonal). - Hosts community events and festivals. - Clean and peaceful setting with plenty of shade trees

The pond is a big Improvement since they added the concrete edging. There is still some slime buildup along the north edge but it is better than before and there is still plenty of goose droppings. The pond is stocked regularly but so many people fish there and so the pickings can be slim but some nice sized cats can be found.

My children's loved it. They had an amazing time and their dad and I enjoyed the pond with ducks. The only downfall is lots of bird poop everywhere near the pond, but the play area was great! We will be visiting again on our next trip

It is a wonderful park. Beautiful and peaceful except for the S.P.D harassing the homeless. Some of the homeless people are very nice, while some of them aren't. All in all it's a great experience.
