This is a really lovely neighborhood park that often lives in the shadow of its flashier neighbor, Cascade Park just a block away; it absolutely holds its own charm. A paved perimeter loop makes for an easy stroll, while an interior dirt trail offers a more natural, tucked-away feel.
The "Friends of Our Parks" remembrance trees and plaques add a touching, reflective element, serving as quiet tributes to loved ones. Another plaque commemorates the park’s connection to the historic Anhaica village, offering a meaningful glimpse into the rich cultural history of what is now Myers Park.
The park features a surprising variety of amenities, including outdoor fitness equipment, three tennis courts, a children’s playground, and a baseball diamond. At the heart of the park lies a dense wooded area and a ravine: beautiful to look at, but not a spot for young children to explore. A wooden bridge spans the ravine and appears new, sturdy, and well maintained.
Seasonally, the park really shines. Magnolia trees are plump with buds, and one eager overachiever is already in bloom, hinting at the display to come. By early February, the park should be fully dressed in blossoms, making it an especially pleasant place to wander.
Quiet, reflective, and full of subtle character, this park is well worth a visit ... even if it doesn’t always get the spotlight.

This is very nice park that has a pool, playground, picnic areas a long walking area and is just refreshing to visit. Bring your dogs on a leash, and enjoy the beautiful trees. I seem to recall oaks and there may have been pine trees as well.
There are a couple of tennis courts and the playground and it's just relaxing to be in this area. Very safe and they have a nice pool where you can take water aerobics or just do freestyle swim lanes.
If I lived on that side of town I would be there all the time.

Kids had lots of fun. So many people but plenty of eggs to hunt. The lady who was inside the 7 and 8 year old area was rude and did not do her job. She let older kids in and tried to kick out parents whom were protecting their kids from the older one's. I believe it was a minority thing but who knows
