Is it private? Yes. ( love that it is. I know most of the people and dogs) Is it a bit of an involved process to join? Yes (It's worth every step and every minute of the wait?) Do you have to go to your vet and have them fully up to date on shots? Yes. (but if feel so much better knowing that there are not parasite and flea infested dogs playing among mine) Do you have to go through a quick 15min orientation on an agreed apon Saturday and have a cheek cell DNA swab done? Yes (it's so quick and easy, and they use those 15 mins to explain about the park and the rules and and answer any questions you may have about the rules or the park. The swab is crucial to help ensure people are cleaning up after their pups. (Everyone does 99% of the time, and it's awesome. who wants to have to watch where you step? Its the main downfall of most dog parks) I read a lot of negative reviews about this place before joining and most them seemes to be from people who didn't like that it was private, or didn't like that it wasn't free. The dues are very low, and I don't mind paying a nominal yearly fee that helps keep the park nice and fenced in all year. I love that they have waste bag stations all of the park. I love that everyone knows each other for the most part, and I that my pup has met so many furever friends at the park. It's awesome to have a place to let her explore and run around know she can be off leash and will be safe. Worth every bit of the money and wait. Check it Out

You need a fob key to get in. We have taken our dogs up and down the east coast and never had a problem at any dog park ever! There was a bitter old man and a mourhy younger woman. So much for being a dog lover. They let our dogs get back into the car after that long ride and find somewhere else to go. Poor poor poor humans. Karma is knocking at your door. Enjoy the ticks. P S take your dogs 10 minutes down the road to Mine Falls Park. The scenery was incredible the people were great and the dogs were friendly. And plenty of places for everyone to go pee.

Take the low ratings with a grain of salt. Would you give a private school you've never been to a 1 star rating because it wasn't public? Makes no sense. Take your grievances about the lack of a public dog park up with town. This dog park is great and keeps our fast boys tired and happy all year round. Thank you to everyone who keeps it running and accessible to anyone that cares enough about their dogs' well-being to put in the minimal work to join.

This is an awesome dog park! It is private with a yearly fee, but the park is clean, dogs are reviewed before they can join, and it's the perfect place for a dog to explore and play. Half the park is wooded with things to climb on and explore, and the other half is a open field. My dog also says the number of things to sniff are top notch.

We have been a member of the Nashua Dog Park for the past couple of years and we love it! The park is clean (all the dogs are DNA tested for the PooPrints program) and has both a wooded area as well as a grassy area for the dogs o run and play. Since the park requires a membership I have more peace of mind bringing my dogs there because I know the other dogs are up to date on shots and such. They also run activities such as a Howl-o-ween costume party and stockings for the pups at Christmas. If you live in the area we highly recommend making the investment to become a member as it is well worth it.
