Nevin Park

MON 2025.06.30 ~05.45, i arrived at the parking lot. Was already high 70s_F 😅 .. and so, i quickly went out for a walk of the "Disc Golf Course" Loop. The "trails" were well-maintained and free of litter. Lots of bird singings. Sweet solitude while on-the-trail; saw 2 other person when i got back to the parking.

This has got to go on my list of newest favorites when it comes to parks .. There's so much space to cover and so many activities like shuffle board, nature trail walks, dog-friendly, great natural atmosphere, 2 playgrounds, an amoptheator, great parking that's free, and so much space to cover. It's in a convenient location. Perfect for families, play dates, couples, group meetings or just you and nature!!

Had a great experience both times for our Top Gun Tournamenta on site! The facility is well kept, restrooms clean and well maintained through the day, and the fields were well set up after all of the rain we have had! Thank you and keep it up!

Big park with fantastic playground with something for everyone. The whole playground is full of wide ramps. There are regular sit on swings, handicap swings, swings for parents to hold baby, and baby swings. There is a lower playset suitable for smaller children and a bigger one for older kids. There is also a separate play area with climbing stuff. Some of it is broken or doesn’t quite function right but most of it is good. At the front of the park is a large shaded splash pad. There are also baseball fields and horse shoes. There were restrooms throughout the park but I didn’t use them. There are also walking trails throughout the park.

Terrific park, full of entertainment for children, teens, and adults. I came here to play 18 holes of disc golf with close friends and it was a resounding success. We did a 3v6 scramble and us underdogs were able to push against the 3 elites. In a way, it's representative of the class struggle you see all across the world. Nevin Park is a real one for letting us reenact this powerful power struggle. THANK YOU!
