If you are using s Google map, the map will bring you to the residential area. The entrance should be from the high school on the corner road. The trail not as impressive as I thought but is nice family park for a baseball or tennis court.

Trails are well maintained and marked. Adjacent to the White River, so good birding. Large effort underway removing callery pear and honeysuckle. There are a couple porta potties by the baseball fields, but I'm assuming those are only there during baseball season. Parking is at the nearby school. Use the south entrance, then go past football field and tennis courts. This preserve is part of the Riverside Woods Trails.

Awesome trails if I lived closer I would go every day. Dogs are welcome. Can ride bikes just not motor bikes

Perfect place to view wildlife. A nice variety of places to walk. There’s river, prairie and woods. Tons of different plants to see as well.

First time visiting today. I like hiking where there's not a lot of people so I was a little nervous when I saw how many people were there. I have a dog that can be aggressive so I prefer places where there's not a lot of people. But - I didn't realize how big the trails were (biggest one is 7+ miles iirc). So even though there were quite a few people in the parking lots - we didn't encounter another person on our hike. I'm traveling for work and Eagle Creek is way out of the way from where I'm staying in Indianapolis. But it's definitely worth the drive! The woman at the front gate today (5/29/24) was super pleasant and incredibly helpful too! (A little mad at myself for not remembering to ask her name) She deserves a raise! No! .... 5 raises! Maybe even 6!
