What a wonderful surprise.. A baby dear came out of the bushes very close to my wife and I. So close .. So special. We saw 4 in total and had a wonderful time walking through the park.

I have been coming here for years whenever I visit my family in Laredo. This is a great park with a nice trail system. Not expansive enough to confuse you, but enough to not bore you. Along the trail, you get loads of different parks and rest opportunities: dog parks, kids playground, body weight workout devices, a lake with an amazing sunset view (people come to fish too), skate park, basketball court, etc. It's a great place to walk with the family after dinner. You can enter in at many points, but the main lot with free parking also has bathrooms.

Great trails and my kids love the main park. I do wish the smaller parks were a bit more updated with the ground and play sets just because sometimes the main park gets too packed. But always a good time either way. Well Maintained and you can see deer families. Just be careful for the bores.

The only disc golf course in Laredo is located here. Yes, I love this park.

Love this park. Plenty of trails to walk ether follow the paved or in the unpaved walkway. Just keep an eye out to for the flying disks or frisbee if you go off the paved walkway. Plenty of trash cans and water fountains for both yourself and our furry friends. There are even doggie poop bags with coresponding trash cans to pick up after your pet. (But it seems not many people use them) I've only walked half of the park. haven't crossed the street to explore the other part but I'm looking forward to it. Got to walk the other half of the park. It's nice, clean and peacaeful. Just no water fountains or benches like the main side of the park. So be prepared if you decide to take little ones this far.
