I literally brought a picnic basket and sat by the river! What a beautiful place! I walked for about 10 minutes through the trails and instantly found a nice place to relax. I saw some benches on my walk too. I am sure there's lots more to explore, so I can't wait to come back. The sun was shining so warm and pretty through the trees. I could hear woodpeckers and see animal footprints! Definitely worth checking out!

Beautiful nature trail. Good for walking, jogging not so much. Gets pretty muddy if it has rained recently, so I would wait or take mud boots. Also, don't forget your bug spray and sunblock like I did 😅.

My favorite nature park in the area. Tons of trails to walk or bike, most through shade and wooded areas. The nature center is nearby, beautiful views of the Clinton River, and even a playground for kids ages 5-12. Picnic tables available, dogs welcomed on leash. No restrooms though.

There were no bathrooms by the playground. A bathroom/portable bathroom would be nice for parents bringing their little ones to the park. Other than that, a great place close to the river to explore and play with the kids. Beautiful sunset and old big oaks.

Very clean and beautiful park. Trails are always great for biking, hiking, or just walking. This is always a great place to go to have picnics. I love how the trails lead you to dodge park which over the past two years, it has been renovated with new parks, a splash pad(free to Starling Heights residents), new basketball courts, new volleyball courts, added pavilion's, and a soccer field. The trail also has a painted mural of flowers that you can find I will post the photos below.
