A nice large public park on the North end of albuquerque. Didn't get to explore the entire part but they do have a lot of sports and playground facilities. Even in late November the colors were beautiful on the trees. Only thing that kept it from getting five stars was that the public toilets were not very well maintained.

Supposedly a good place to see hot air balloons pass by and maybe even land. Could not confirm because the mass ascension did not happen due to the wind but I can imagine... Good chance to find parking and avoid the massive traffic around other hot air balloon fiesta viewing spots.

Great park for watching balloon festival mass ascension! We came in the evening to this park to see what it was like and find out where to view the balloons. We enjoyed walking around the park and discovering there is a parking lot. Many people were dog walking. There are permanent porta potties in a structure. Bring your own TP! During the mass ascension, several balloons came right above us and the view was excellent.

Had a great time at Summerfest northeast. There was plenty of food trucks, several bands and lots of arts and crafts to explore. Free admission! I'm not a drinker but there was a large section in the middle dedicated to an assortment of alcoholic beverages. Overall just a great environment with lots of people having a great time.

I like the playground equipment, but it’s missing several inches of mulch. I as an adult can’t even use the teeter totter. Shade structures are an afterthought, at least for the structures kids are expected to play on. So expect play equipment to be scalding hot in the summer. So great job city officials and who ever approved the design!!!
