Nice neighborhood park with good vibes. I was there during a concert (the Awful Purdies 😃) and the park was full of action. Lots of kids on the playground, some activities in tents, and lots of folks watching the band. They have a playground - not super new but the equipment is pretty nice and my 2/4 year olds loved it. Nice gardens. A few sports courts if that floats your boat.
Stopped here to eat my takeout lunch and couldn’t have asked for a nicer park 😁
What a nice park, close to work, a pleasant walk. Very clean and safe.
This pretty block park is tucked behind Horace Mann elementary school. There is a walking path through the park, a fun playground with lots of swings, huge gazebo, and full basketball court. The play equipment is great for kids 1+. There is shade available and part of the play structure was shaded when I was there. Unfortunately some of the rubber tiles that make up the floor on the playground are bubbling creating a safety hazard. Parking on street is likely an issue when the university is in session. Special features: Basketball court Decorative plantings Walking path Play equipment: Slides: 1 tube, 1 wavy double Swings: 6 regular, 2 baby, 1 tire Climbers: 1 tunnel web, 1 curved slats Extras: sand box, bouncy animal, bouncy teeter totter, 2 swivel seats, 2 spinning body circles, marble maze wall Amenities: Large gazebo Parking: street On-site water: yes On-site bathroom: no
A nice little park, but wish there were bathrooms at the park or close by (we had to drive to a gas station so my toddler could go).
When Google exported structured hours, they’re surfaced here instead of being buried in the raw payload.
