Yes, this THE dog park in Florence for those that are in town visiting or new here. The park sits on the back lot of the North Wood United Methodist Church in the quiet Seven Points Neighborhood since spring 2019. Dog owners should be conscious of the fencing for either small or large leaping pups as repairs are needed. Regular visitors donate their dog’s lesser used toys for others to enjoy while at the park. There is no water fountain, so bring your own H20. Waste bags are also often donated by visitors to encourage picking up, but bring your own bags just in case to keep the grounds clean. There are shady spots in addition to seating (which is weathered and aged).

There’s poop EVERYWHERE and dogs across the street just bark and bark and bark the whole time your there. I did give two stars because the fence is taken care of and my dogs couldn’t get out

It’s sectioned off into two sections separated by chain link fence. Both areas have some shade and seating. It wasn’t very clean. People have not picked up after their pet, even though there are supplied pet bags available on site. Random used and unclean dog toys were all around. The fence was secure but shorter than average. A larger dog could easily leap over. One of the gates was in disrepair. This is just our observations to help first time users. We will return and appreciate the park being available.

The dogs loved it . It wasn't bad .bring your own water and toys they have some here but I'm sure your dog loves his own . 2 smalls dogs and 2 sections for multiple dogs large and small . Was great . There were dog bags for poop . We definitely will be coming back .

Dangerous. I took my 8-month old puppy. Seemed like a nice place. Kids were playing across the street behind a fence. My dog loves all animals, especially small children. All of a sudden, she went under the fence and darted across the street. I tried to vault the fence. I broke the top of the fence, fell on my back and scratched myself. Luckily I saw Gizmo in front of the other fence, captivated by the children. I went through the gate and got her. The end.
