**edited** **They have added a new shelter in the spot of the old shelter with new pavement. I suspect picnic tables will be added soon.** This Park used to be a wonderful park. Unfortunately they have cut costs and removed some of the things that made this park wonderful. They removed the ice skating rink and no longer flood the area in front of the warming shelter in the winters. So the park is basically a dead park in the winter. They also removed the picnic shelter, tables, and barbeque grills. So no longer can people have birthday parties here. Gone is the seating around the playground so parents have to stand while they watch their children play. They do still have the wading pool and the playground equipment is fine. It is just sad to see how much the city has cut back on this North Moorhead Park.
We had lots of fun playing baseball/softball here!
One of our favorite parks to frequent! Our toddler loves the playground and loves running around in the big field. There's also a splash pad we have yet to try out!
Cute little city park. Wading pool is always busy in the summer. Ice rinks are usually busy in the winter. The playground equipment is fairly new & good quality. Check it out!
