Second time here. Conflicted opinion. The water was clear and nicely warm, but the shore was covered in bottle caps, empty packages, glass and dog poop(there was naturally bird poop too). I would never take off my sandals nor let a child play here, which is sad because the shielded picnic tables are neat. It's a good place for plane spotting.

It’s a beautiful park with a great July 4th fireworks show, but I have to give it only 2 stars because they shut down the entrance to the park far too early claiming it was full. My group had to park over a mile away and walk to the park to see the show. Once inside the park, we saw dozens and dozens of empty parking spots across multiple lots that could’ve been utilized. Plus, I was told by others inside they were charging $20/car for parking. It’s unfortunate not everyone got to enjoy the park due to poor planning and traffic management.

A lake park in the grapevine area. It has free entry. The lake is very beautiful and has great scenic views. We had spent great time clicking photos. It has very large playing area with plenty of options like baseball, volleyball etc. Also you can play other sports/games in the free area. Also you can rest in rest huts which has Barbeque machines also. In all it is great option to spend your vacation and free time.

Beautiful park and amazing sunset with bluish water. One of the best lake in DFW. Picnic area and restroom. New and big parking lot. I just hope people clean up their dog poops and keep the park clean. Saw a lot of dog poop everywhere.
