Oak Ridge Town Park

The wife and I got some food at McDonald's and went to the Oak Ridge Town Park to eat our food. It was nice watching the clouds while eating our food. 2/1/25 - went to the park to eat and read a book. Nice day and enjoyed a quiet moment. Great place to go!! 11/29/25 - went with the wife to get take out breakfast and eat at the park. There was a large number of people setting up holiday luminaries along the pathways. I believe the lighting will be soon, if not tonight. It was a pleasant, peaceful experience to be at the park.

This is a good park for walking your dog. The grounds are kept beautiful. Lots of parking available. They have soccer, football fields and baseball fields. They have paved sidewalks all around the park and a sign with details of how long each section is. They have a separate dog park for little dogs from the big dogs in the woods down from the playground near the football fields. They also have bike trails through the woods. It's a very well kept park.

I love this park. It’s peaceful, quiet, and the scenery is beautiful. Most of the people walking around are really friendly—though I’m not sure if it’s because I usually have my dogs with me or if they’re just friendly in general. Either way, my dogs enjoy the walks too. There are a few downsides, but they’re more about the people than the park itself. Some dog owners don’t clean up after their pets, which is frustrating and honestly just gross. That said, the park does offer doggy bag stations, which is really helpful. There’s also a bike trail and a wooded trail. I haven’t explored the wooded one yet—I’m a little hesitant because my dogs is small and I’d rather avoid running into a larger, off-leash dog—but I like that it’s there as an option. Overall, it’s a great spot, and I really enjoy bringing my dogs here.

Beautiful park with a nice paved walking trail that winds through a wooded area and along side a small pond. 2 play areas with playground equipment for kids and several covered picnic shelters with tables are also available. There is a public bathroom that is clean and several working water fountains. There are also several soccer fields. The wooded area has a path that leads to a large drop off area, so I would not let children walk back there unattended or unaware of the drop off area.

We had a fantastic time at the Filipino food Express held at the oak ridge Town Park. I hope they have this again next year. Everyone was so friendly and the food was incredible.
