First time visiting the dog park after the renovations. Nice, clean and space for the fur baby to run around in! They have plenty of activity/agility equipment for the pups too- if your dog isn’t like mine and actually knows how to use it. Yes, you have to pay and register your dog at the Roselle park district, but it’s fairly affordable one time investment for the year for your dog(s) to stretch their legs and one of the more affordable dog parks in the area. Once you’re registered you are given a lanyard with a tag and a key. The park has a dual security entry way gate, to prevent dogs bolting in and out. The space is sectioned off with one side being for smaller breed dogs and the other for larger although you have to walk through the one section to get to the other. I did not see another entry way point, but may have missed it. The sections are also capable of being opened up via a extra wide gate so that the dogs an share the entire space together. However also there is a single entry way gate that is controlled with key & lock. There is a covered seating area for the humans or for the pups to cool off in. There is a waste station however it appeared that the baggies were already out, but as a pup parent I was prepared and brought my own. My only concern is that the key & lock system has some flaws and most are expected to abide by the honor system. Overall it was a great experience for my pup and I.

Nice little park, have made some nice improvements. We pay taxes for everything in these parks & all staff. Why do they charge people a fee for the dog park? Fenced in & locked, key access only? Following same trends of Illinois Pay To Play Politics... gone to the dogs even! Shame on you again Roselle Park District! Otherwise this park is 4 Stars, minus 2 stars Roselle Park District = 2 Starts total =)

Great baseball field. With enclosed backstop. Outfield fence. Porta potty. Nicely kept field. A children's playground and an enclosed dog park boarder the field. A view of a nice small lake with cat tails. Train tracks in the distance means periodic Metra trains and occasional freight trains.
