Beautiful small park with plenty of picnic tables , kids play area and basketball courts as well as green belt for sun bath and relaxation.. there are small trail around the park and beautiful mission peak and bear area views. There is small belt of yellow flowers which will give you glimpse of DDLJ movie . Around 5 miles of Sabercat trail around the area and fun part for kids and adults. There are plenty of free parking. Overall it's a nice place to spend relaxing time with friends and family.

This is a great neighbourhood park! Accessibility and planning within the play areas could be improved. There’s two play areas, one for younger toddlers on the lower part of the hill and a more extensive one for older kids. However, currently there’s only a staircase connecting them directly. You can see where the hillside is extensively warn from people pushing strollers up along the grass/ dirt, but it’s quite a steep slope. If you have a wheelchair or stroller and want to go to the upper area safely, you need to leave the smaller kids area, walk past the washroom facilities, the basketball court (awesome they have this too) and go the long way to the hill. There’s also a good amount of parking and a picnic area at the top of the big hill with shade. Great park but can definitely use improvements from an accessibility point so it can be bettered enjoyed by all.

My 6 years old loves to come to this park because of the money bars. She can spend hours on this playground. The park also offers another playground for younger kids (which my 2 years old also enjoys very much). Besides the playgrounds, there is also a basketball court at the park (very popular and often has a lot of people). The only downside is that it’s always hard to get the kids to leave the park 🤭
