I recently visited Old Trolley Barn Park and it’s a really nice park to bring kids. The playground area has multiple play structures with slides, climbing areas, and a swing set, so there’s plenty for kids to do. It’s a fun spot where they can move around and stay entertained for a while. There are also a lot of park benches nearby, which makes it easy for parents to sit and watch the kids. One thing I really like about the park is the large grassy areas. They’re perfect for picnics, throwing a ball around, or just letting kids run around and burn off some energy. The park is generally clean and feels safe, which makes it a comfortable place to spend some time. Parking around the park isn’t too bad either, which is always a plus in San Diego. The only real downside is there are no restrooms, which can be a little inconvenient if you’re visiting with younger kids. Other than that, it’s a great local park and a nice place to spend an afternoon outside.

Great time at Old Trolly Barn Park in University Heights! Nice green grass, playground with slides, swing set, and climbing. Dog friendly on leash. No public restrooms. Very clean and safe. Recommend!

This park is really nice. It overlooks mission valley area. Lots of grass, picnic tables, trash cans and temporary bathrooms. Playground for small children. Lots of trees for shade. There where alot of people here today for a kids party.

This might be the most visually appealing park we've been too! It has a tropical paradise vibe with it's abundance of greenery and palm trees! It boasts a rich history, great view, and fun playground! Street parking can be kind of a pain at times, but, this park is definitely worth it!

We held my friends and client event here and loved the location with view. Given that many of my guests have kids, the proximity of our area to the playground was ideal. We had all the room one could ask for and it was easy to find. Nice breeze up on the hill as well. The city manager was easy to work with to organize the event.
