The park itself is big and maintained by the Vet Corp pretty well but it is by far the worst dog park I’ve been to with poor dog owner etiquette and the amount of poop on the ground is disgusting. I guess with the park being so big, the owners don’t keep an eye out for the dog when they’re pooping. When you try to signal the owners their dog pooped they act like they don’t see you or don’t admit it’s their dog when their dog is clearly still in squat position. I think the lack of dog bags post, dog bags in general, and only having one trash makes it an after thought for owners. Like “oh it can just be a part of the 100 other poops here.” Also there’s a fight on the big dog side every other time I’m here. My corgi has been a victim of a not so great dogs assuring dominance with the owners barely able to hold onto them. Some owners on the small dog side clearly can’t manage their medium to large dog (husky, senior pits, etc) on the big dog side so they put them in the small dog side with the overly confident chihuahuas so that’s not a good mix either. I’ve been coming here on and off over a year now and I’m tapping out, it’s not for me and my two dogs.

The park is large, with walking trails inside and outside. There are 3 benches inside and picnic tables outside. There is absolutely NO SHADE inside the gate, dogs overheat fast. There are holes that you can trip on.

Very strange dog park, gate code needed to enter but then almost no one here. People walking their dogs on leash inside the dog park (???). A lot of dog poop around.
