Discovered this gem of a park after adopting my boy Odysseus in March! He took to it like a duck to water + has met many new friends both canine + human during his many visits. Today was a bonus day as an event called Honor Fest was taking place + we got to meet some awesome folks from Sheep Dog , a group that provides support for our wounded Vets.
Usually a great place. Always look for poo and keep your eyes open for someone not managing their dog but overall it's a great park and my dogs enjoy it.
This facility contains a good-sized dog park with separate large and small dog sections. The rock walls, ledges, and small slopes offer a nice variety in terrain for dogs to explore. It even has a tunnel in the large section (may be one of the small side; cannot recall)! I am a huge fan of the permanent miniature pavilion staged in each section for crucial shade/dry spot during rain storms. The young trees will hopefully offer much shade in the coming years. Another park to this park is that it's just across from a kid's playground. It's a great place to take your pets and kids for a fun afternoon!
If you lost some glasses, I set them on the rock over on the big dog side of the dog park to anyone
