Very nice Historical Park with a playground and open field. It is also attached to the Moorhead River Corridor trail. The Bergquist Cabin, which is on the national register of historic places, is located on the south side of the 7th Street Cul-de-sac. There is no parking lot for the park but there is plenty parking on the Cul-de-sac.
Great place to go for a walk and check out the old history how this town started Fargo Moorhead. You will feel more of a history buff after visiting, have some tennis shoes which you dont mind getting dirty. There is also a Park for kids to play where our boy had lots of fun. Once it get sunny and dry out I am going there again. #mustafasellscars
Nice little park next to the Red River in North Moorhead. Includes the old Bergquist cabin, built in 1871.
Beautiful park with many places to get great photos!!
Lived in the area my whole life... and never seen this place! It was quite the hotbed for photographers taking family pics but it's a big area you can explore. Really fun place... and the dried up riverbed was some great rock hunting.
