Oro the Friendly Forest Giant is a wonderful feature located within Hidden Creek Park West. As you pull into the parking area, he’s the first thing you’ll notice, welcoming all visitors with his charming presence. The park grounds are incredibly well-maintained, with tall trees lining a dirt path that invites exploration. There are plenty of benches for relaxation, a vast grassy area perfect for picnics, and public restrooms that are open during park hours for convenience. For those looking for a bit of fun, there’s a foosball table available, along with various games to enjoy. Just across from Oro, you’ll find additional amenities that enhance your park experience. It’s worth noting that Hidden Creek Park East is nearby, featuring a water play area and expansive fields for soccer and other outdoor activities. As a Realtor in Hillsboro, I often recommend visiting Oro and Hidden Creek Park to my clients, especially families looking for a friendly and engaging outdoor space. It’s a delightful spot that captures the spirit of community and nature in our area!

This friendly giant is within the hidden creek park west. It is the first thing you see when you're pulling into the parking area. The grounds are very well kept and support for sure, with tall trees and a dirt pass that is very well maintained. There are benches that swing and a huge grassy area. Public restrooms are open during park hours. A foosball table Is available and you can check out a foosball as well as a few other items to use opposite oro, the friendly giant. Which is also separate from what they called? Hidden creek park east, where you'll find the water feature to play in and the huge fields for soccer and other games.

This park is so beautiful, and it's always full of people, which makes for new friends and better adventures. The park is extremely well built and has ping pong tables a fuse ball table and an community center on the same campus. This park is our favorite park! If you haven't seen it yet come you have to!

This place sure has something for every age group. From the multiple types of swings and twirly rides to the slide you can get to via ramp. Of course the Monkey is the star of the show and has all types of climbing to get up to the big metal enclosed slide. Everything is enclosed in a fence so no kids can make a break for it. Nice new restrooms that are located just outside the fenced part of the park. This park is always packed but more opportunities for the kiddos to make friends :-) The sandpit is where my kid spends most of her time, though the water for it was shut off for the winter in October.
