Its sad after not coming here for 20 years its still the same trashy place as it was. So now there is a fence to separate bigger dogs from smaller dogs that's nice to bad that's no sign . So when I went there 2 days ago I was playing with my 6 pound jack russel everything was fine other then a b gate that doesn't close and a bunch holes so the digs can get out . So I came back today lileni said there 2 sections so I went into the section. I rent into the first time no signs and wouldn't you know someone with no common sense comes in with a husky and border collie . Now thers another section with no dogs in it no signs open and no one says anything. Finally afyervthebsexind group came came in theyvsaid this is the big dog side .like insaid no sign I was there first insist left and will never go back horrible dog park tjerabso many better ones

Beautiful Walking Path, but Room for Improvement Overpeck Park is a well-maintained gem in New Jersey, especially for those who love a good walk. The walking path is perfectly flat and clear of any obstructions — ideal for a relaxing stroll or a brisk walk. However, as a dog owner, I was disappointed to find the dog park under construction. It would have been helpful to know this ahead of time, as I parked and walked all the way there only to find it closed. The restrooms could also use some attention. They were outdated, not very clean, and the women’s restroom had no soap available. That said, the walking path alone makes this park worth visiting. It’s peaceful, scenic, and truly a standout spot in the area. With some improvements to communication about closures and restroom upkeep, Overpeck Park could easily earn five stars.

I brought my two littles ones today and I absolutely love how big the park is.

Nice place to bring your dogs, they have separate big dog and small dog play areas. Path leading to the entrance can get boggy when wet

There are two areas to separate small and large dogs. Mostly had a good time but someone brought their aggressive and clearly too large dog into the small dog area and harassed mine. This might have been ok except the owner did not remove the dog until it harassed my dog three separate times when I tried to put her back down. Not the parks' fault and a risk at any dog park but some owners just are not responsible enough. There was a cute little fake fire hydrant, a couple benches and a dog bag dispenser on the large dog area which could be reached from the small dog area over the fence.
