Mosquitos were REALLY bad. I was covered in them and we had to leave. But it is always clean, repaired and fun! But beware of traffic on the back street by the playground, just stay up in the park and u are fine. It is apparently a meeting place sometimes for drug hand offs?? I have seen several pull ups and drive offs in my 12 yrs coming here.

Back in August I had a incident happen while I was walking in the park notified park of incident the same day finally got a return call 5 days later was told the incident would be looked into filed a complaint with the city and Still no response to this day.

Moreland park is a really nice place to take your children to play. They have excellent tennis courts their, as well as a full court basketball court. They also host baseball & softball games their. As well as having a walking track going around the outside of the park. Not sure if the distance though. And the restrooms are usually always clean as well. And it is dog friendly also.
