Paakuma' Park

This review is just for the basketball court. This court is deceivingly nice. I've played in a lot of courts but this is probably one of the most annoying I've ever played in. -double rim -the ground is lopsided. Whether you make your shot or miss, it will roll away from you to either the dirt area that's way too close or all the way next to the baseball field -not even a full half court -dirt/plant area too close to the court (your ball will get covered in dirt) -trees with metal railings too close to the court that can be a collision hazard -huge gaps on the concrete Overall a poorly designed basketball court.

This would be better if they had enough parking. During soccer season all families park on the neighboring streets, up to a 15 minute walk away from the park entrance. And I feel bad for all the people who own homes in that area because it gets so crowded Saturday mornings. And for all the people that visit, there are only two toilet stalls in the women's room which never seems to be enough. The grounds of the park do seem to be well maintained, as is the very small playground.

My kid had a soccer game at this park. It was our first visit. The park is situated right in the middle of a beautiful new community. There are clean restrooms, playground, and nice, even green playing fields. The best thing however is a security guard the community has hired to patrol the park. It felt safe. I wish more communities had this set up.

Great facility but the only thing lacking is some small bleachers to sit at during the baseball games

Parking is limited and difficult during sporting events. Baseball fields have no bleachers. Park does not have evening lights which is dangerous during the winter months. However facility is kept clean and in good working condition
