Palo Verde has an excellent dog park. The large dog area has gravel, picnic tables and some shade in the afternoon.

The park has been getting renovations for a lot longer than promised. It also seems like the new renovations have made the park worse. For instance they have taken a good amount of the grass out and added gravel. They have also removed the swing set near the large tree which is a huge bummer. The park has also become overgrown with weeds and seems like it hasn’t had any attention since it reopened. The new kids play area that is under construction is terribly small and the activities there look very minimum and lame.

Wish there was more seating for parents' watching their kids and more lights for when it starts getting dark. There is not enough lights to last until the park is closed for the night. The new equipment is nice, just sucks the main equipment/ slide is way smaller than the last one.

Great to have a playground for children with disabilities, BUT you need an additional playground next to it that is more challenging for kids. The new playground is extremely bland for average kids, and the big kids swings are now missing. Really underperformed on this "new" playground. Extremely disappointing and bad judgment on the part of whoever finalized the plan. Splash pad is also a prison yard situation. Park has more room to expand... look into it asap.

Perfect neighborhood park with Parks and Rec. Swimming pool, two dog enclosures (small and large), baseball fields, walking 🚶‍♂️ path around the park, tennis courts and much more 💗. Always plenty of parking. Also a 'Kindness Tree" and metal structure to add a "pad lock of love" 💕. Come check it out, but please be respectful 🙏.
