This is a park right next to a local elementary school. It has a big grass area, tennis courts and bathrooms. There are tables under an awning. There is one modern set of play equipment and then some old school metal equipment in a planet type shape thing, a submarine and a train.

Nice park, plenty of room, grass and picnic tables to eat at. Also trees for shade.

Some 5th graders came here around 3:00 and pelted me and my truck with rocks. Random kids having fights with big thorny tree branches. Saw a kid have to go home because some idiot kid ran into him with a sharp palm tree branch. Only form of entertainment was watching random kids have anime battles. Would only recommend not on school days.

Great place for a family picnic or a small barbecue party - city owned. You can reserve the covered area ($ 60) for the day - you get permanent cement tables with bench seating (5), flowing (non-potable) water, electric outlets and barbecueing grills (3) - bring your own coals, food & drinks. Restrooms are close by (800 feet away) & are clean with flowing water. Quiet, safe area. Enjoy!!
