We had fun enjoying the sunny day with a walk around this park. We love near it, but didn’t even know about its existence. It’s calm here and the trail offers a nice workout with the ups and downs

This park has really improved in recent years in my opinion. They've added a whole area for native grasses and wildflowers and put in a playground. The nature garden is really cool too. They've also extended the trails and improved areas that needed some work (such as an area of the trail that was frequently flooded)

We love this little park! Suitable for kids & dogs (please always clean after your dogs!) has nice walking paths and plenty of wildlife, like deer, rabbits, turtles, birds, etc... that are not scared and you can take photos of them. We also love the Artistic details around the park and the long grass. In the morning is a little loud, due to construction work currently (July 2024) happening nearby but after 5:00pm is nice. Plenty parking and within a walking distance from the church (don't remember the name), that has extra parking if you needed it.

Great location for a walk. Definitely feels like being in the middle of the woods even though you're in the middle of Eagan. There's little to no noise from surrounding cars even though the road isn't terribly far away. A few other walkers, but it's a nice location if you want some solitude. The trail can be a quick walk, or loops for longer walks. Beautiful trees and greenery with occasional educational signs. Also, there wasn't any mosquitoes, which normally find me in a short span of time when I go outside.

Came here for the first time this morning with my dogs. I wanted a nice trail and new smells for them. What a great hiking area! Very well maintained. We saw deer, or what I'm sure my dogs thought were weird looking doggies. I'll admit we did get semi lost at one point. Came across a map that I SWORE I had just looked at (Twilight Zone moment) and it turns out I had. Pulled out the GPS on my phone and we had done TWO full circles w/o even knowing it. As we were getting back on track we did hear a deep growl come from the tree area. Like DEEP growl. Had it been night with a full moon and I was in a horror movie, this would be the time I got attacked by a werewolf, therefore I recommend maybe bringing pepper spray along. Luckily it didn't follow us and we made it out alive albeit exhausted and sweaty. I wanted to lay down and have the dogs drag me to the car, but I resisted. I'll definitely come back with pepper spray in hand.
