This dog park hits most of my favorite items in a dog park. Parking is on the street with several ways into the park. Gates at the corners of the park. There is a small walking trail that goes around the park. Love for it to be a little longer but overall the trail is good. There are several water stations for both humans and dogs. There are 5 poop stations were they have poopy bags and a waste container. They have agility equipment in the middle of the park. The people are very nice. No water play at this park. In hot months they do put a kiddie pool out. I would suggest this dog park to anyone looking for a happy nice place to let their dog run.

I have previously left a very lengthy posting on this site regarding Paw park of historic Sanford. I am not sure what happened to it I haven't seen it in quite a while but here is a quick breakdown once again. The park has several areas where you can take different sized dogs and has a lot of agility toys that dogs can run a jump or play through. All in all the park is small but very nice plenty of watering spots for the dogs and bags for pickups. 2 downsides number one there is no latrine for the Fur baby's parents and and the other 1 is the side of town that's on everybody that knows Sanford knows 2nd to 5th street can be kind of rough.. On this particular visit we met some friends in the evening and the place was way too dark all that it had was a few street lights And that was not nearly enough lighting for the dog park let alone in area that has problems with crime.. Once again this is John Yohan with your commentary and perhaps insight. I hope this helps you out and 0lease try to have a safe and great day!!!

This was my first time to the Paw Park and it was awesome. My dog Milton had a great time and for three hours he didn't stop playing with all the other dogs and interacting with the multiple items in the park. The park was super clean and well taken care of.

Really nice dog park with dog obstacle course equipment, which is really cool, not very common. My only gripe might be that the dog water fountains don't seem to be very good. One of them didn't give water fast enough for it to pool in the bowl, dogs would have to literally lick the faucet to get anything (and no dogs would). The other two worked but all of the water was automatically expelled at the bottom of the bowl creating a massive unavoidable puddle, horrible for mudding up our light-colored dog.

Took Tiny to the park today. Really nice park for large and small dogs. There is a separate area for large and small dogs. Makes it really nice for my Yorkie. Park was very clean and well maintained. Has a watering station. Plenty of shade. Places to take your doggies poop too. Very nice. Park benches provided for people. There are plenty of items for the large dogs to play on. The gate looked like it was locked but was open.
