Beautiful large parks for both small dogs and large dogs. Excellent facility.

This is one of the best dog parks we’ve been to. Close to the highway if you traveling on the 101. Stop here, your dog will thank you. There two fenced areas, one for large dogs and one for small dogs. All grass and lots of balls and toys for you pups to play with. This is a very well maintained dog park. When we were there we had it all to ourselves. On top of all that it has amazing views!

It was a nice place to stop on our drive between Atascadero and Santa Barbara. About halfway between the two, not far off 101. I like that there are big grassy fenced areas, one for small dogs & one for large. They even had water bowls and dog rope toys& tennis balls. The photos I added were of the small dog area.

Nice big area for t your dog to run. Only downside is the water bowls for the dogs were not on. Water was really stagnant looking. Wouldn't let my dog drink from them. Next time I will bring his water bottle. 6/33 Absolutely a wonderful dog park and the view is beautiful. Wish they would turn the water on for the dogs.

While visiting PAWS Park in Buellton, my dog was attacked by another dog without physical provocation. The other dog engaged in biting behavior, and I had to physically intervene to free my dog from the attack. During the incident, the other dog’s owner did not attempt to restrain or remove her dog. Instead, she stated that my dog “made noises” which she claimed provoked the attack. My dog did not bite or initiate contact. The attacking dog appeared to have blood in or around its mouth following the incident. Due to concern for my dog’s safety, I immediately left the park. My dog sustained a bleeding wound on his leg. I am seeking veterinary care and documentation of the injury. I was not personally injured. I am concerned about public safety, as the dog displayed aggressive behavior in a public off-leash park and the owner did not intervene or take responsibility. I am requesting that this incident be documented and investigated in case there have been prior or future incidents involving this dog.
