Very nice city park! There is a good walking trail. I saw lots of birds and 2 large turtles. There is a really nice picnic shelter and playground area. The veterans memorial is great.

Amazing recreational park in Harlingen. Tennis courts, baseball and softball fields, and an incredible Veterans tribute area. Walking trails stretch the entire park. Plenty of parking, safe place to exercise.

Tennis courts in GREAT condition…and they’re FREE on weekends! Just two dollars for youth and three dollars for adults for a two hour session during the week. Good lighting that we turned on thanks to a tip to some friendly teens playing much better than we were. I didn’t use the playground at this time, so I won’t comment on it. Park closes at 10 PM.

Nice walking trail, lots of ducks, few geese. Bathrooms are usually clean. My grandchildren love the playground. Great sunsets and moon rises.
