My son has been in love with this park since he was 18 months. It has an awesome walking track for jogging and walking or if you want to drive a scooter or bike. So many ball fields. Playground has a variety of slides, Swings and activities for active kids of all ages and its a good splash pad nearest to home during the summers. Also has some green space for kids to play their games. Lots of seating and best of all they have a washroom on site.

We played an away hockey game here recently, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing.
Parking was extremely limited. The municipal lot was completely full, and there were no clear alternatives, which made arriving stressful.
Inside the rink, the ice had no clear lines, to the point where even the referees were unsure at times. This made the game difficult to play and follow.
Bathrooms are only located in the locker rooms, and only one locker room was heated — not the one our team was assigned. The toilets in our locker room were frozen and unusable. The only heated locker room was locked. When we asked the person in the front office area (who requires you to sign in with your age and phone number), he told us the locker room should be unlocked but would not leave the office to check (it was about 11 degrees outside, and his office was heated). He also stated he did not have a key.
We later found out that a sibling from the opposing team had locked himself inside the heated locker room so he could play with his toys in a warm space, while our team was left without access.
Because there were no usable restrooms, parents from the opposite team began entering our locker room to use the frozen plumbing. This is a serious concern and goes against SafeSport and USA Hockey guidelines, especially while players were present.
There was also garbage everywhere, with no visible trash cans, which made the facility feel neglected.
It’s especially disappointing because teams pay good money for ice time and expect basic facilities to be clean, accessible, and functional. This rink has a lot of potential, but it needs significant improvement in maintenance, organization, and guest experience.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes necessary changes.

A beautiful park right in the heart of heights area in jersey city. Its Big, Beautiful, eventful and highly connected location. Its a nice place for kids to play, to get some fresh air and to learn different sports. There is big loop available around the grass field for kids and adults to either run, walk or to ride a bicycle. Dont miss the war memorial here that is dedicated to vietnam war heroes. There are so many trees planted in their memories it felt so nice to see that. Also here you can enjoy both the cherry blossom and fall season. Winters are even more amazing when its covered with snow, you can go there with kids and family and make big and beautiful snow man. The only problem i see here is its kind of crowd y at evening time, but again, everyone whats to be at best place to spend some quality time and to make memories. Considering the pandemic situation, i will suggest to avoid occupying crowdy space. Wear mask and keep sanitizing your hands. Stay safe stay happy and stay healthy.
Ciao!!

Good place for kids to play in Jersey City Heights area. Packed with elders and kids around evening time. Good place for a walking or jogging. Not enough space for parking, only few spots near kids play area and couple of street parking spots.
