My husband and I visited the park area while staying in the area. Each morning I enjoy going for a walk and found this close to our hotel. This is a HUGE park and I would love to come back and explore. There are paved paths to take and walk along. There were several playground areas for different ages of children. Lots of bathroom areas. There was both a small and large dog park area. One thing I noticed is that there were several trails within the area and some went quite high. This would be an awesome place to come explore the trails, walking paths, and get some good workouts in. There were also areas with workout stations for individuals to use.

Beautiful and very large park — perfect for spending a few hours outdoors. There are multiple trails that wind across, around and above the park, from easy walks to some more intense hikes with limited shade, so come prepared with water and sunscreen. The views on the more intense hikes are great. Entry fee is $10 per vehicle, and it’s absolutely worth it for how well-kept the park is. There are plenty of picnic areas, clean restrooms, a small creek (dry during our November visit), and nice recreational areas for kids. A great place to relax, explore, or hike for a few hours surrounded by nature. Both the park and all the hikes are dog friendly, but dogs need to stay on the leash especially because there's a lot of wild nature on the hikes

My family loves this park. They are charging entry fees for parking inside the park now but its worth it in my opinion. They have hiking trails, walking paths, a creek bed you can walk threw if its dry. Three separate playgrounds. There's places you can grill and unlimited picnic tables. They have alot of bathrooms. There's horses at the end of the trail. Soccer fields at the top of the park but you can't always drive up there. The dog park is really nice. Beautiful and well maintained park. If you dont want to pay the 10 dollars you can park at the mall and walk over.

(Update: Closed Monday and Tuesday open Wednesday thru Sunday $10 Parking) Nice for early morning long walks on the trails in the spring ,very beautiful.. im only there for 1.5hrs then go on about my day. "This place used to be open and free parking all week and $7 on the weekend". Now you have to pay $10bucks every day and they are only open Wednesday thru Sunday and closed Monday and Tuesday. That's kinda sucks. I'm sure alot of people feel the same way because when I paid to enter the park that morning the parking was empty compared to what i'm used to seeing. 70% empty lot, people are parking outside the park and walking in, I may just do that from now on since I'm walking anyways. I feel bad for the elderly people who drive here every day to do their routine exercises having to pay $10 every day or pay $80 annually. Some can't afford that and some can. I suppose I'll start walking here back at home, it's nice too. I would have gave the park 5 stars but the parking fee is now the issue. Simply because I would only be there for 1.5 hrs. Waa waa wa! I know im complaining.. lol.

We had our Annual Family Picnic here and we had an amazing time. The theme was MICHAEL Jackson, we all showed up in our M.J. gear , tshirts or hairstyle. What a blast. The park was very safe, clean and the scenery was absolutely beautiful
