Just picked up my Yorkie Sophie and she looks great! First puppy haircut. My grooming technician was Leila. She was very helpful and gave me pointers and tricks to use at home since Sophie was a little squirmy today and very understanding because she was a puppy.

Absolutely horrible!! Don’t not bring your puppy/dog here to be groomed. Taylor Hood groomed my 5 month old puppy. We told her we wanted to yorkie cut and to leave his face full, she agreed. Well when our dog was picked up, he was literally unrecognizable! She cut all his fur off to the point that you can literally see his skin all over including the top of his head.. When Taylor Hood was questioned about his haircut (the yorkie cut we all agreed on), she ignored all questions, antagonized us while disgustingly smirking (oddly personal and unprofessional, especially for a stranger), tried to scam us into paying twice after I paid online and lied about getting consent to cut his almost bald. He’s so unrecognizable that my 7 yr old sister was sobbing the second she saw our puppy. Taylor Hood made it clear, in person, that she would not touch his face, head or tail, she literally did the exact opposite. He has no fur to protect his skin. I feel horrible for sending my puppy here or trusting Taylor Hood with my 5 month old puppy.. He’s been crying ever since he’s came home, his skin seems to be extremely irritated and it all around seems like intentional cruelty. He’s normal very happy and playful, he hasn’t barked and he’s suddenly flinching from people’s hand movements (which he never has before) I haven’t gotten any normal behaviors from his since he’s came back, he hasn’t even barked and it’s heartbreaking to think of all the possible things that could’ve taken place while in Taylor Hood’s care. Also, Before I personally had to go up there and speak to the manager, Jonathan, about what had happened with my puppy, Jonathan, Who was very nasty only over the phone, decided to hang up on my mother who called 30 minutes prior to me going up to the store. My mother called to get some type of resolution, but was disrespected and disregarded. After an excruciatingly long 35 minutes of me being at the Petsmart, Jonathan finally decided to give me a refund. While it’s somewhat appreciated, It does not take away the trauma that my puppy experienced today or the disgusting And inhumane behavior of Taylor Hood. If you care about your puppy, you’ll never bring them here! There are mobile pet spas, and local grooming salons all over Ohio and I would suggest any one of those before I would ever bring any animal of mine here. If you look on Taylor Hood’s Facebook, you’ll see that she skins a lot of the dogs that she cuts but I’ve never seen one as bad as this. If I can figure out how to attach before and after photos, I definitely will. Update: I figured out how to add pictures! There was no real resolve besides a refund but his black coat is permanently ruined, he’s literally gray now instead of black.. I don’t even know how they did that, free my complaint to corporate, they called me saying that they’ll show me how to brush my dog properly with the correct brush, no consequences for Taylor’s nasty behavior towards my father once he was picked up, no acknowledgment of blatantly cutting him to the point he bled or the fact that she tried to make us pay twice.. Honestly I’ll be looking into legal action. Anyway, ever since been taking him to Allpets in Pickerington near Dairy Queen, he’s comes back happy and playful! He absolutely loves them!

We got our Labradoodle puppy in December and have been taking him to PetSmart for grooming since February. Leila T. always does a wonderful job, and I’m consistently happy with the results. My only suggestion would be to improve scheduling so pups don’t spend quite as much time in a cage, especially since mine struggles with a little anxiety. On the plus side, I really appreciate the convenience of being able to order supplies online and pick them up the same day as his appointment—it makes the whole process easy and efficient.

Disappointing Experience at PetSmart Grooming – Our Dog Was Cut Way Too Short!! We recently took our miniature poodle to PetSmart for a bath last week, and the groomers mentioned some matting on her stomach. We noticed a bit of matting on her neck a couple days later, so we brought her back this morning specifically for a cut and dematting. Unfortunately, this turned into an extremely disappointing experience. Despite our clear instructions to maintain her fluffy, longer coat, the salon manager, Lilith, completely ignored our wishes and cut her hair way too short—down to the skin which I specifically said "I don't want her cut down to the skin". It felt like Lilith was more focused on upselling us on additional matting charges rather than actually listening to what we wanted for our dog. We understand that some trimming was necessary, but the result was excessive and not at all what we agreed to. Before she took the dog back I did not like how she was handling her and I wish I would have followed my gut instinct and just left. We are beyond frustrated and disappointed with how this was handled. Our dog’s coat is now uneven, way shorter than necessary, and feels like we got taken advantage of. We trusted Lilith to care for our dog's grooming needs properly, and instead, it feels like they prioritized making an extra buck over doing what was best for her and simply did what Lilith wanted to do and thought was best instead of following simple instructions. If you’re taking your dog to this location, be extremely clear about what you want (and even then, they might not listen). Lilith’s poor judgment, and lack of attention to our instructions completely ruined our experience. We will not be returning which is unfortunate. People pay too much money to not be taken care of properly. $72 down the drain. I called to file a complaint with corporate because this was horrible. Lilith messed my dog hair up.

MUST be on time! I have been coming here for 7 years. Never missed an appointment and never been late. I was 2 minutes past the grace period and they refused to take my pet. Very disappointed.
