Playground is terrible! Not for small kids at all. More of an Art project for the city.

Very nice urban park. Very well designed, be in nature in the middle of the city. Lots of hiking trails, childrens playgrounds, plenty of parking and I am not sure if it is a Texas thing but people do not pick up after their dogs and if they do - they leave it along the trail. Not the best plan but besides that it is a great park with great amenities and wonderful trails. I found the trails easy to get lost so be sure you remember what entrance you parked - there is more than one entrance.

Nice park, will look forward to seeing it after everything is green. They did a really nice wildlife bridge that is walking only. We did see some people on bike that could not read walk your bike. Other than that it's a really nice park. I would suggest taking something that has maps on it so you don't get lost. We had Garmin watches with maps that were perfect.

"The best place in San Antonio to experience the natural world." The Park offers an easy escape from the city where you can explore nature and wildlife along 7.5 miles of trails, the brand new Tobin Land Bridge, multiple gardens and learning centers, wildlife and nature conservation events, outdoor group fitness activities, or just a simple picnic in a beautiful scenic setting. The trails I walked at the east entrance were handicap accessible since they're wide and smooth. Park facilities include dog parks, playground, restrooms, picnic areas, a bicycle repair station, basketball courts, and two large fields of open green space.
