This park is absolutely beautiful!! We went kayaking and the kids are already begging to go back. Prices were reasonable, bathrooms were clean, and the staff was great. We really enjoyed ourselves. We were able to see deer and enjoy all the wildlife as well. The playground was very nice. They had plenty of picnic tables as well, fishing pier, and lots of shade. We have already recommended it to our friends and will be bringing family here when they come visit.

First and foremost it costs $2.00 a person (just so you are informed before going) and during the colder seasons it closes at 5:15pm. I was unaware that it cost money before going but it may be worth it for parents looking for a playground that is fenced in with a restroom right next to it. There is a concession stand at this park. There is also that spongy material under the playground but there is concrete surrounding that. There are swings, slides, and a see-saw (with chairs).

The lake is quite breathtaking!. Beautiful serene place to relax and contemplate life. The kiddie playground is large, would have loved to see a splash pad there though. We went for frisbee golf, unfortunately we didn’t go past hole 6, way too many mosquitoes this time of year I guess. (Beginning of September) We were getting eaten alive, my bad for not bringing repellant. Clean bathrooms though and nice staff. Will come again when it’s cooler out.

Awesome dog park! Tons of space, far removed from road noise and with lots of seating for humans. There are two lane entry and exits for dogs and water fountains inside at all levels for humans and dogs!

We’ve become regulars here, visiting about 3-4 times a week. The site is always well-maintained and looks great every time we stop by. What really stands out is the staff—they are consistently friendly and helpful, which makes our frequent visits even more enjoyable.
