I don't want to say why I adore this place because it would surely be abused, but I would like to make a donation to the owners. I would rate them 10 stars out of 5.

I pet four dogs on less than a mile of the trail. Five stars.

Plate River Trails has done a great job creating a recreational use space adjacent to the beautiful North Platte with a wonderful pathway, bridges, exercise stations, wetland areas, benches, and so many interconnected areas. We love going - we park at either Tate Pumphouse or Amoco Park near the Bart Rea Learning Circle, and walking, especially during fall on months when the colors are so beautiful.
