I think this is mostly oil field workers staying here. It was quiet, clean. Spaces are small, no shade. The lady in the office was pleasant. Men's bathroom was closed the 3 days we were there. I didn't use the ladies' bathroom. Supposed to be good fishing right there. And a long boardwalk close by. The mosquitos are ferocious and will eat you up. We had to move inland, to get away from them. 😱
None of the bathrooms were working the three days I was there. Great location, nice grounds. Wi-fi works well. Strong Verizon signal there. If bathrooms worked I would give it at least four stars.
It is OK. The layout is nice, roomy, and clean. Just seems like a lot of long term residents and parked trailers. Only 3 spots open when I arrived. The boardwalk is great. Someone said there is a Gator in the pond. I never saw it.
Always a great place to picnic, fish, or campout year around. Today my son and I drove out for the afternoon from Beaumont. We caught a few fish and enjoyed the surroundings.
