This was the first dog park I ever went to and I absolutely loved it! I really appreciated that there was a separate gated area for smaller dogs, which is the one I went in with my pup. There was a shaded picnic table area and dog bowls that we could use for water. There were little equipment pieces and toys too! It was clean and we had a really good time meeting other dog owners and sweet dogs. The best part? The location is just beautiful. Not only was the park lovely but the whole area that surrounded it was pretty. The worst part? I didn’t mind it but the walk from the parking lot to the actual park may be long for some.

This is my favorite dog park. The best part is the walking trails within it that allow you to walk your dog off-leash within the perimeter. There's also a massive open field with some standard dog park obstacle course type items, and a smaller fenced in area for little dogs to play in. If you want other dogs to be there when you visit, there are always some between 4-6pm and throughout much of the weekend.

Nice dog park, wooded and there are some trails which I did not explore much. Stayed on the main trail at entrance. The odd thing is there is what appears to be 20 year old artificial turf covering that main trail. It is stuck down very solidly, so much that grass is growing up through all over. Interesting idea, not sure it I aging well.

If your dog is a runner, don’t come here. I was looking forward to a fenced in dog park but when you come in there is nothing stopping your dog from turning around and running out. There is no gate. Once you get inside it’s enclosed but not very secure… not a lot of parking. It’s a good idea in theory but I won’t be back. You take a long boardwalk inside and then there is a small fenced off area for dogs 20 lbs or less.

Decent local dog park, but we’ve encountered quite a few dogs that were really aggressive, with owners that were totally oblivious. Fortunately our dog is calm and handles these situations well- but I’d definitely leave any younger children home, as they could get injured easily. The same applies to older adults or people with bad hips/knees. A 100 lb dog running full speed at you- even if friendly- is a setup for an ED visit.
