Pooch Park Dog Park at Judd Community Park

Great place for my dog to go and play in an AC environment! and the cafe is delicious and such a plus -they also sell fresh eggs while supplies last. Plenty of well priced treats, goodies and super high quality foods for our fur babies. Every employee is a joy

We go to the large dog park. My fur baby and I love coming here and ALWAYS have a great time. Love meeting all the new dogs, seeing the regulars and being able to sit in the shade and converse with people while the dogs play. Most dogs are friendly but ones that may be getting too rough get pulled out pretty quickly for the most part. There are two separate parks for large and small dogs. Large dog area has pretty good shade with the large trees but lots of dirt and the small dog area has almost no shade but lots of grass. Helpful hint: if your dog is in the large section and likes to wrestle or sit in the mud, you may want to have a towel in your car to brush off any extra dirt/mud before leaving. There is a hose and plenty of buckets for water. Restrooms are available and are pretty clean. Only complaint is that there is a purple irrigation pipe that keeps getting pulled up lately. It was buried too shallow or the dirt has been pushed away from the top of it from the rain to make it shallow but the sticking up pipe can be dangerous for the playing pups. Ranger is good about burying the pipe again by the next day but it's just too shallow and gets pulled up again. Putting large rocks on the top of it was NOT a good idea. Saw a few dog hurt themselves on them.. If it's not in use, is it possible to have removed or at least buried properly? I'm just worried.

I went on an adventure today to find a new job park for my tiny little dogs so they could run around. We've had coyotes in the neighborhood lately so I was looking for an area where they could get some free time and play with other dogs without worrying in a fenced an area. Upon arrival I parked at what I thought was the entrance to the dog park. It was a gate that read large dogs only So I wasn't sure if they was a small dog area which is well beyond the large dog area. I let my dogs out of the car they were on a leash. The aggressiveness of the dogs and the large dog area was a little bit unnerving. The large dogs were like a wild pack of animals. I quickly moved my dogs away from that enclosure into the middle of the parking lot. I was surprised that not one of the dog owners sitting in the area try to control their dogs. I realize that not everybody is a responsible dog owner as I am. But I was extremely shocked that not one of them left their chair to try and control the craziness. Upon walking out into the street I found an area that looked like it had small dogs in it we walked down the street as not to get near the large dog enclosure. I found the little dog area with some amazing women in their dogs. I did not realize there was another parking area behind. Which is my fault I should have drove around to check on this but I did not see the sign that said large dog area or any signage pointing to its where a small dog enclosure would be. My two little doggies had such a great time once entering the small area So many great people so many compassionate people and so many caring people. These women were absolutely amazing they called themselves for the 9:00 group. I always try and introduce my dogs to other dogs slowly. The women also understood this they each called their dogs over and had them sit next to them. I brought my dogs in between the two gates and so late introduced them to each other. Once they did their sniffing routine they were all off playing with balls and frisbees and just having a great time. So unless you have a very large dog I suggest you park in the front by the large dog area. No you do have to drive down the street a little bit to get to the smaller dog enclosure. I wish when entering there was a little bit more signage as to which way to go. And I also suggest if you are going to use the large dog enclosure you use caution. All in all I was happy that my puppies were able to run free for a while.

Judd Dog Park was great! Was able to take my furbaby and my boys to play all in one place!! Wish the playground had artificial grass but other than that, we had a grand time!
