The best park in Southeast Texas. Clean, safe, beautiful, good crabbing and fishing, great boat launch, covered pavilion, splash pad, picnic tables and barbeque pits, huge trees for shade, farmer's market, events, 2 wonderful waterfront restaurants, never over crowded, easy access, new playground, frequent patrol by police, boardwalk along waterfront great for walking/jogging and dog friendly (leash required), great place to take photos (example -graduation pics/family pics).

This park is fantastic! So many areas to play in, my granddaughter had a blast. It was very clean and well maintained. By far our favorite park in the area.

It's huge! They did a great job! It's awesome! The boys had so much fun! Between the park & the splash pad the kids had a blast! I wish there was a way to get from the park to the splash pad without going all the way around, but it is still all good! & With the river right next door it's awesome & the wheelhouse is in walking distance! Perfect spot!

Its an AWESOME place for kids to play. It needs to be better taken care of. They may do this right before summer. But when we went in September this could help the scenery.........Trim trees, clean cobwebs, sweep debris of leaves, a good sanding/ painting of the structure. Some fixer upper holes and damaged musical notes. A good cleaning.

The park is always clean and safe, and there's a great view of the water. There are plenty of places to park any vehicle and gather, along with water access.
