I have been enjoying this beautiful park for 45 years. It has wonderful tree-lines of very mature pines. There are Jacaranda trees lining the walkway through the park. It is a very well maintained park that offers tranquility for those looking for a nice local escape.
I walked my dog at Portola Park today, there were a few people walking and exercising. The park looks beautiful with its blooming purple trees. It was good to get outdoors for awhile, during this covid lock up. 😷
Stopped to eat lunch under a tree since the only picnic table in the shade was taken by some people who looked like they may have been living there. Tennis court, basketball court, and some families training for soccer. In the middle of a neighborhood. Google tried to make us go in through Lyon Street but you can't, just use Santa Clara. And... Squirrels with pizza!
Portola park posse!!! Lol great basketball courts recently cheers from a VIP of Tustin 1976- 2009 and Orange 2009-present
To be honest, I'm actually impressed by this small park! It is very very well kept! It has full amenities, like a city or state park! But if you have kids at home, this park is simply astonishing! Check it out! What lacks in size, makes up in amenities! 2 major deal breakers for me : restrooms do NOT have doors in the stalls and restrooms close way too early by 5 or 6 p.m. CLOSED! It is outrageous to say the least... if they were able to fix those two issues, it would be a 5 star review.... Come check it out and let me know if you agree or disagree
