Post Park is a scenic and historic spot, especially popular for camping, picnicking, and enjoying natural surroundings. Located near the Rio Grande in Texas, it offers open grassy areas, a small creek, and shaded spots with large trees. Visitors appreciate its peaceful atmosphere, wildlife sightings, and suitability for stargazing at night. It’s a great stop for travelers looking for a quiet, rustic break. Facilities are minimal, so it's best for those who enjoy a more natural experience.

1. Scenic and Peaceful - Surrounded by desert hills and cottonwood trees - Natural spring creates a small stream—great for relaxing 2. Historic Site - Former U.S. Army post location - Includes Kelly Pavilion, built by the CCC in the 1930s 3. Picnic & Day Use Area - Shaded tables, grills, and restrooms - Perfect for small gatherings or solo retreats 4. Birdwatching & Nature - Quiet spot to observe local wildlife - Remote and unspoiled environment

Nice little area. Not much of a park, just a place to gather when there is an event or something major happening. Was here for Sunfest 2018.

The views here are just stunning, pure Florida paradise! That oceanfront is something else, absolutely breathtaking. It’s the kind of place that makes you never want to leave. Honestly, if I could live there, I would in a heartbeat!
