Park was cute & we had a little time to spare so we stopped in. It’s right behind an elementary school so I thought it would be ok. (This was during summer time so school is still out) The park itself is ok - although, it could really use some cleaning and paint. But the part that threw me off the most was the amount of homeless. The picture I included was right out front & the photo of the playground itself has a sleeping homeless guy under the tree on the left. (He wasn’t there at first). Then a couple minutes into the playground trip a group of more homeless came and camped out at the picnic tables. I can overlook this issue Sometimes because you even see homeless in summerlin now. But me & my son & another father & his son were quickly out numbered in about 5 minutes. It got awkward- fast. Me & the other father left with our kids shortly after. The playground has a lot of potential. Maybe during school time it will improve?

A park in the middle of a neighborhood often serves as a hub for recreational activities and community gatherings. This park typically features a playground for children, providing swings, slides, and other play equipment. Additionally, it commonly includes a baseball field, where local teams and residents can enjoy America's favorite pastime. Such parks encourage outdoor exercise and social interaction, fostering a sense of community within the neighborhood.

Clean up the parks. I brought my 2 year old to play and there’s profanity all over the slide and bird poop on the other. It’s disgusting.
