Doesn't seem to be any employees on site to accept park entrance fees! Not family friendly, they told me no more bicycle riding on their trails but their signs just say no motorized vehicles on the trails. It seems they make up rules as they go to limit certain individuals from using the park. I did not see their boat rental available last year. I assume they have eliminated the boat rental altogether. They keep raising the fees and more and more limit what people can do there. No longer worth the high fees they charge. Why is the county charging fees for park use we already pay enough tax to the county? The city parks are free for anyone's use. Portage parks are a much better choice by far.

I always have a good time here. Sometimes it's a busy place and other times not so much. Either way, there is plenty of room. We like to take the inflatable rafts out to the middle and jump in, life vests are worn by all. For $5 per car to visit a clean facility and well kept grounds it's hard to beat. I don't agree with what the county is doing to the adjacent property owners. The park is big enough. That property has been in the same family for many years. Leave them alone and take care of what you have.

Wonderful big garden! It is very useful for large gatherings and celebration. It has many sides and lots of parts, you can go to the lake, dogs, etc. You have to pay to enter, because we came with one car and we paid 5 dollars. Love this withered garden, trees, people and lake all these things. Maybe I will return to it later. Just the only thing that you have to do is to choose the day that you can go and have fun!.

Great little park with huge dog run areas. Entrance fee $2 per person on bike.

This is our favorite summer beach. It is nearly always quiet, I've been the only family on the beach many times. We have also had several of our kids birthday parties there, in the pavilions. We've had nothing but good experiences.
