Wonderful park, mostly enclosed to enjoy with the pups! Please make sure to clean up after your dog as always but especially because these are ball parks to be enjoyed by all

Amazing park! Really big and spacious area that allows for dogs off leash most months of the year and most times of the day during those months (see attached photo). New to the area and I can say with the utmost confidence my dog DJ and I will be here every Friday moving forward! Especially from September - May. This is a dog run park from 8am - 3pm during those months! Great job City of Petaluma. Just be careful if you walk along the fence next to the golf course or at least pay attention to “FORE LEFT!”

I HAD YET ANOTHER INTIMIDATING, AGGRESSIVE, ENCOUNTER WITH THE MAN IN THE BLACK LEXUS WITH A MALINOIS. My friend and I parked at the last 2 spots in a row. Every other spot was empty. He parked right next to me and opened his doors onto my car. I had to move them to get out. Once in my car, he aggressively went from one side to the other, "filming" me and threatening to put it on Nextdoor. As I was backing out, he followed, flexing, and pointing to his "muscles," telling me to "be careful out there." Meanwhile, his dog had jumped the fence and was approaching while growling at a person walking toward us on the sidewalk. I've called PPD and the animal shelter. I know others who have done the same. What has to happen before someone will do something about him? This is not a place to teach ("security") dogs to attack, aggressively bite onto toys, or chase off other dogs. If you don't trust your dog to behave, this is NOT the place to train them! It is also not a place for aggressive, intimidating people and their bad behavior!

Soccer fields are riddled with gopher holes and yellowjackets. It needs to be taken care before child has a serious sprain or break, or allergic reaction to a sting. Parking can also be an issue if during games.

Humongous, green grass field with baseball fields, there is a huge, super old oak tree with lots of shade. The park is in between a nice neighborhood and a golf course. Dogs are allowed on the field at certain times of day it is mostly fenced in. The small planes from the airport fly overhead too which is fun.
