Very secluded little hidden gem! Located at the end of the road in a residential area. Decent amount of parking spaces (30-40?), with a restroom available, and have programs (mainly for kids) available, there is a trail that is paved (easy for stroller/wheelchair users), 0.50 mi roundtrip. Most of the trail is under tree canopy. The end of the trail is a deck with some seating and seem to be a great place for bird/animal watching! 10/10 would recommend this place!

I’ve seen people plan for holidays spend nearly a 1000$ just to get to the woods. I’d argue, when you have a park like this sitting right in the heart of your city, you really don’t have to go that far. Untouched, beautiful and serene ❤️

My first visit and quite happy with the area. Great place to walk you dog, get a little exercise, or just enjoy nature. There's about a mile's worth of trails combined. The lake and fishing pier are the main attractions but there's also a small creek and some sort of amphitheater on the Blue Trail. Signs describing the habitat can be found along the Yellow Trail and I got to see a variety of ducks and small birds. Looking forward to returning in the summer when there will be more vegetation.

This place is awesome. It’s a straightforward park that leads to a dock overlooking the lake. Everything is very well maintained with various hiking trails ranging in difficulty and they have signs that provide information on some of the trees and various animals found throughout the area. Highly recommend 👍🏼

Nice basic nature walking park consisting of a blue loop and red loop trail. I estimate about 2 miles to walk both. Trails are well marked and easy to navigate. The blue trail goes around an old quarry and over a creek with small waterfalls. The red trail takes you down to a fishing lake. Only amenities at this time are a porta potty in the parking lot, some trash cans and benches along the trails. Update November 2021: An upgraded Providence Park reopened. Two new features added include an 8ft wide ADA trail that leads down to Providence Lake and a beautiful designed 500ft fishing pier and pavilion over Providence Lake.
